Teams of sixth grade teachers in 42 public and private schools across curricular areas have been trained in technology integration and have created Units of Practice. (UOPs) These UOPs are based on content area TEKS and are implemented in the classroom while the instructor is mentored by a Maestro. Maestros are experts in both technology use and teaching and provide guidance and feedback to refine the UOPs.

These UOPs are provided on this website for greater access by any teacher wanting quality correlated lessons for their students.

Finally, the Technology Leadership for Teachers grant provides an on-line interactive multimedia course, developed with the University of Texas, to help educators develop campus level technology integration capacity. This course allows educators access for Just-In-Time professional development and/or recertification credit.
